What is your current obsession? Tea and tea sets!
What's for dinner? Cupcakes or egg's, depends where i am.
What's the last thing you bought? A multitrip and energy drinks.
What are you listening to right now? Kid cudi's new album.
What are you wearing today? Blake's marine jumper he's had since he was 7 (so cute!) and borrowed socks.
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished, anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Paris.
Saving for? Bali/thailand, shares and a canon 5d.
What are you going to do after this? Make more tea, change the music and keep blogging.
What inspires you? Growing, lately i have found that everyday i am learning more and mre about myself and others everyday.
By what criteria do you judge a person? I try not to, but generally by how they treat others and by how they deal with different situtions.
What do you feel like? Cuddles and baking. It's a cold day so those two thing's would be extra perfect.

ANITA PALLENBERG - RUSSH MAGAZINE

Anita Pallenberg, often reffered to as the sixth stone, Anita was more than just a groupie girlfriend. Larger-than-life, this hedoistic she-devil made wild Keith Richards pale in comparison.

In the 60's Anita Pallenberg was a tall, tanned, rangy blonde with a devil may-care attitude and not one but three Rolling Stones notched on her belt. Born in Rome in 1944 to an Italian artist and German secretary, Pallenberg was already fluent in four languages before she toured the world as a model appearing on the cover of vogue. She based herself in New York where she was a regular at Andy Warhol's Factory and was involved in the groundbreaking Living Theatre, a company that produced plays that didn't shy away from nudity and controversial themes of the day.
In 1965 she met Brian Jones, who was to be her first Stones boyfriend. By 1967 she had left the self-destructive Brian and hooked up with Keith Richards, who had long had a crush on her, on a trip to Tangiers. There are rumors substained by Marianne-Faithfull, that she had an affair with Mick Jagger during the filming of the cult movie Performance, a relationship Pallenberg has always denied. She has two children by Richards, a boy Marlon in 1969, a girl Dandelion (now Angela) in 1972 and another boy Tara in 1976 who died shortly after birth.
Pallenberg is also famous for her drug use and obsession with black magic. Already a fan of Alestir Crowley, her role in Barbarella as the Black Queen brought about an almost obsessional interest in the dark arts. Her occultism influenced the Stones concerts and image over the years and her opinion was o well respected she had Beggars Banquet remixed just prior to release because he found it wanting.
Her relationship with Richards waned after he cleaned up in the early 80's, but she is still great friends with Keith and his wife Patti Hansen.
Pallenberg went on to study at Cetral St Martins for four years in the 90's, has her own fashion line and akes appearences DJing at parties. She is still mates with Marianne Fathfull and is alo close with Kate Moss.

ANITA PALLENBERG

ANITA PALLENBERG - THE SELVEDGE YARD

My first introduction to Anita Pallenberg was back when i bought my first issue of russh magazine (i was at the train station, killing time in the newsagency when i came across it) i read tha issue cover to cover over and over again. This particular issue they had used Anita Pallenberg as there beauty icon. I remember googling her trying to find more pictures but at the time didn't come across a lot. A few minutes ago i stumbled across a picture of her on somebody else's blog triggering me to do another search and i have definitely not come back empty handed! below is the written word from a blog i only came across today called 'The Selvege Yard'.
I hope you enjoy reding it as much as i did. I've dug up my old issue of russh agazine so in the next post i will type up what they wrote about her along ith some pictures.

Anita Pallenberg entered The Rolling Stones’ lives when in 1965 a friend took her to Munich for one of their concerts, and they worked their way backstage. Anita offered The Stones some hash, but they said they couldn’t smoke before a concert– though Brian Jones was ‘kind enough’ to invite her to his hotel room afterwards. They stayed together for two years but he was increasingly abusive, drunk and paranoid. On holiday in Morocco in 1967, Keith saw Brian beating Anita up and grabbed her, threw her in his car and took her back to England. She from then on lived with Keith Richards.

Life with the Stones was fun at the beginning, Pallenberg says, because they were always playing music– but soured once they became a huge money-making machine. She says she didn’t even see them that much, “because at that time no girls were allowed in the studio when they were recording. You weren’t allowed even to ring. I did other things, I didn’t sit at home.”

What she did do– a few films, lots of drugs and tons of screwing around…

Author A. E. Hotchner has this to say about Pallenberg’s influence on the development and presentation of The Rolling Stones from the late 1960s and through the 1970s– She played an unusual role in the male-dominated world of rock music in the late 1960s, acting as much more than just a groupie or partner of a band member. Mick Jagger apparently respected her opinion enough that tracks on Beggars Banquet were remixed when Pallenberg criticised them. In the 2002 compilation release of Forty Licks, Pallenberg is credited as singing background vocals on Sympathy for the Devil.

Throughout the decade that she was Richards’ companion in vice, her interest in the occult was a featured style component that marked The Stones concerts and public presentation. Tony Sanchez’s account of his time as Richards’ bodyguard and drug dealer mentions Pallenberg’s strange spiritual practices– ”She was obsessed with black magic and began to carry a string of garlic with her everywhere — even to bed—to ward off vampires. She also had a strange mysterious old shaker for holy water which she used for some of her rituals. Her ceremonies became increasingly secret, and she warned me never to interrupt her when she was working on a spell.”
Anita Pallenberg more than shared Richards’ drug addiction and was charged in the 1977 Toronto heroin arrest that almost destroyed The Rolling Stones. A warrant for her arrest was the reason that police came to search Richards and Pallenberg’s hotel rooms; she pled guilty to marijuana possession and was fined, several weeks after Richards’ headline-grabbing arrest. Richards and Pallenberg separated on the advice of Richards’ lawyers, who believed that if they stayed together, they would end up in more serious trouble. Richards stated that he still loved Anita and saw her as much as he ever did, despite his relationship with his future wife Patti Hansen. In a 1985 Rolling Stone interview, Mick Jagger claimed that Pallenberg “nearly killed me“, when he was asked whether The Rolling Stones had any responsibility for the personal drug addictions of people close to the band.
There were persisting rumors that Anita Pallenburg also had a brief affair with Keith Richards’ band-mate Mick Jagger while the two worked together during the filming of Performance, although Pallenberg denies this. Personally, I wouldn’t put it past either of them, if you know what I mean. They both were easy pickin’ back then .

Anita Pallenberg's personal style was said to rub off on The Stones and influenced the bands look. I kind of look at her as an early, "dirty" version of Tory Burch.

Often cited as The Rolling Stones' style muse-- Anita Pallenberg is seen here showing the boys how 1970s Bohemian chic is done.

CANDLELIGHT

TODAY

I had a lovely day today, it began with waking up in my favorite bed, kisses, cuddles. I lazed for a while, getting up slowy and made batches of m&m cookies (not from scratch unfortunatly) tidied a little and caught the bus to the city to have tea with my friend rachel. We went to nano's and i had a herbal lemongrass and ginger tea, i love it, they bring out these cute little tea sets with a miniature tea pot. The day was followed by a large amount of window shopping, a quest for the perfect boots and more tea (seriously addicted) at t bar. There's great clothes coming out at the moment, i'm aways one for classic black on black and tailored pieces. I bought a great pair of black shorts from zimmermann the other week, some suede ankle boots and a double collared coat. I've been feeling like a style revamp/update for a while so i'm pretty pleased with what's out at the moment, sooki are usually always a sure bet for casual street style pieces. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear my ipods had been found (i thought someone Stole them from my gym bag  month ago!).
I'd love to shop more but i have an exciting trip to save for so i'm going to have to multitask with the saving!
